Chickasha Soup Kitchen Guidelines
The Chickasha Soup Kitchen is managed by an all volunteer board of directors and is a 501c3 organization. We have several guidelines we go by in our daily operation.
1. We are currently open Monday through Friday from 11:30am-1pm.
2. We are a dine in only facility. We do not do take out meals nor do we deliver meals. We do not have the volunteer resources to do this.
3. We do accept volunteers but be aware due to the fact we have different teams that serve different days, there is not always a spot for someone to volunteer. We do our best to make sure the facility is staffed appropriately and occasionally call on volunteers to fill some holes.
4. We do not receive federal or state aid and we are completely a donation based organization.
5. We do accept food donations but we do not accept rusted, dented or out of date canned goods or other out of date foods.
These are just a few of our guidelines we follow.
